Warnings: Don’t know what shonen-ai/slash/bl/yaoi is? Then don’t read. Because this story contains that XD; Don’t own the characters, blah blah, and this contains MxL from SSBB. So suck it.

Marth gave Link a short tour around the mansion. They didn’t run into any Smashers, probably because it was around lunch time. Link’s limp had lessened, much to Marth’s relief. Suddenly Marth stopped in front of a large, wooden door, causing Link to stop as well.

Marth cleared his throat and said, “Here we are. Master Hand’s office. Are you ready?”

Link nodded and asked in what he hoped was a casual voice, “Um, yeah…. Are you coming in with me?” The Hylian felt his cheeks grow warm slightly in embarrassment. He couldn’t help it; from what Marth told him, Master Hand and Crazy Hand sounded a bit like Bongo Bongo, an enemy his ancestor, the Hero of Time once faced. The thought of the fiend made him shiver.

The bluenette saw the other swordsman shiver slightly and smiled reassuringly. “Sure! Why not? Let’s go in, shall we?” He then raised his right hand to knock on the door, only to have Link’s left hand rise with it. The two blushed. They hadn’t let go of each other’s hand. They quickly released their grips and waited for their blushes to die down.

Once their faces turned to their respected colors, Marth cleared his throat once more and knocked on the door, lightly saying, “Master Hand, I’m here with Link.”

A few moments passed before a deep, baritone voice coolly replied, “Come on in.”

Marth opened the door and held it for Link. He gestured with his hand and smirked, whispering, “Ladies first.” Link shot the prince a withering glare and playfully stuck out his tongue while walking into the large room—office, rather. The curtains were a deep, wine red, which were pulled back to reveal two large windows. The carpet was a pleasant cream color that was very clean. The walls matched the shade of the curtains and were lined with some bookcases and various paintings. There were two plush armchairs, the same mahogany color as the walls and the drapery, in front of a dark wooden desk. Behind said desk was a black leather chair, in which sat Master Hand.

The glove-like figure chuckled in amusement, causing Link to rapidly stick his tongue back in his mouth, faintly embarrassed. “It is very nice to meet you, Link of Ordon,” Master Hand commented and held out his thumb, which Link awkwardly shook. “Please, both of you, sit.” Marth shut the door and they both did as asked.

“So, Link,” Master Hand began again, “how do you like Smash Mansion?”

Link smiled softly. Master Hand was rather polite, and he decided he’d be the same thing. “It’s absolutely magnificent,” the blonde complimented, fondness in his voice. “Marth showed me around… really, it’s all fantastic.”

Master Hand let out a pleased laugh. “Thank you! Now, you will be sharing a room with Pit, since Roy, his usual dorm mate, is back visiting his home country. In fact, a couple of the Smashers are visiting their home countries, but we have replacements for them. Speaking of which….” Master hand seemed to glance (but who can really tell? He doesn’t have any eyes) at a panel of buttons on his desk. By the buttons was a speaker. With his forefinger, he pressed a blue button and spoke.

“Attention all Smashers,” Master Hand began, his voice ringing out around the mansion and the training building (the other building outside), ”Please report to the lounge. We have a new Smasher to introduce. Thank you.” He then turned to Marth. “Do you mind introducing Link? I have paperwork to do….” The blue-haired prince was about to ask how the hell the floating hand was suppose to use a pen, but before he knew it, he already agreed. He then got up and walked out of the room with the Hylian following.

“Come along, Link,” Marth hummed, “the lounge is on the second floor above the entry hall.” Link obediently followed. Within 10 minutes, the two were there.

The lounge was a nice, modern room. The walls were a pretty light blue, and the carpet and furniture were a clean white. Mounted on the wall was a large plasma TV with a Wii connected to it. Off to the side there was a cabinet, probably with games and accessories in it. On the far wall, surprisingly, there was a small balcony with a pleasant view of a garden. There were long, flowing white curtains draped over the windows. There were slightly see-through. Not to mention, the room was full with Smashers.

Everyone’s eyes were on the two swordsmen. Link fixed his eyes on the floor. He still wasn’t used to big crowds, even after being around large towns like Castle Town.

“Guys,” Marth began, “this is Link from Hyrule. Please be nice to him.” Immediately, Link heard a chorus of hiya’s, hello’s, and hey’s. There were also some animalistic sounds. He looked up and smiled contently. They all seem so friendly, he thought happily. The blonde then yelped in surprise as something tackled him to the ground.

“Is this him, is this him?!” A voice asked excitedly from somewhere on his chest. Link groaned and looked up. On his stomach was a kid that looked extraordinarily like him when he was younger. He was wearing a green tunic with a light green undershirt, white tights, and brown leather boots. The child giggled. “My name’s Link, too,” he laughed, “but since you’re Link, everyone calls me Toon Link! You can call me Toonie, TL, whatever!” He grinned so wide Link thought his face would split.

A musical laugh ringed in the Hylian’s ears. “Now, now, Toon Link, we wouldn’t want you breaking Link’s back, now would we?” Both Links looked up. There in all her beauty was the elegant Princess Zelda.

The older blonde’s eyes widened. “P-Princess!” he exclaimed. He then began to get up, but Zelda lifted her hand up to stop him.

“Nonsense, Link,” she mused, “none that is necessary. None of us are royalty here, isn’t that right Peach, Marth?” Peach, a blonde with a long pink dress, and Marth nodded. Toon Link smiled and got off of Link, helping him up. The elder of the two gave his thanks in a smile.

Zelda then clasped her hands together, the sound slightly muffled by her long white gloves. “Now then, let’s introduce everyone!”

oOo

After everyone was introduced, they all resumed what they were doing before, which was probably training, sparring, playing video games, or sleeping. The only ones who were left in the lounge were Link, Pit, Ike, Marth, and some of the children and Pokémon.

The angel smiled happily at Link. “C’mon, I’ll go show you our room!” They bid the blue-haired swordsmen farewell, and left. It wasn’t too long before they reached a door with a plaque on the door saying Pit and Link in fancy writing. They were both written in English, but under Link’s, his name was written in Hylian. To the left of Pit’s name was a strung bow, and next to Link’s was the Triforce. Along the way, Pit explained how the floor was organized.

“The children are on the far left of this floor, right next to the Pokémon. Next to the Pokémon is Red, who’s a Pokémon trainer. Kirby and Metaknight are by Pokémon as well. After Red, there’s the girls; Peach, Zelda, and Samus. Then there’s us swordsmen; me, you, Ike, and Marth. Ike and Marth’s room is across the hall. Then after us are the older guys, like Mario, Fox, and Luigi. Right in the middle of the ends of this floor is the lounge, where you’ve already been,” he had said.

Pit grinned as he opened the door to their room. “I hope you like it,” he practically sang.

Link was pleasantly surprised. The room was beautiful. It had pretty sky-blue walls and a soft, pale golden yellow carpet. The ceiling had puffy clouds painted on it. There were two beds against opposite walls; one had sheets that were the same blue as the walls, and the other’s sheets were a forest green. They both looked remarkably comfortable. This room also had a small, white balcony with the same pure white curtains flowing from the windows. In the corner was a rather large wardrobe, which Link assumed was full with sheets and clothing for the both of them. To the right was a door leading to a large, elegant bathroom, complete with a toilet, shower, and sink.

Link walked out to the balcony and sighed. “It’s so pretty….” he murmured.  Pit followed him out and rested his elbows on the railing.

“I know, right?” he giggled. A comfortable silence surrounded them, which was later broken by Link’s stomach growling. Said teen blushed. “Wanna get a bite to eat?” Pit suggested, amused. Link nodded in agreement, and they both went downstairs to the kitchen. Link was intrigued by the refrigerator, the coffee machine, and all of the other appliances.

Pit looked amused at the older teen’s interest. “I’ll explain it all to you later,” he promised. Link smiled and grabbed an apple from a bowl on the counter. He briefly wiped it on his tunic before taking a bite. It was quite juicy and tasted amazing. Pit grabbed a pear, wiped it on his own tunic and began munching on the green fruit. He then jumped on the counter, sitting on it. Link raised an eyebrow and just leaned on the counter. After they both finished their snack, Marth and Ike walked in.

“We’ve been looking for you two!” Marth exclaimed. Pit cocked his head sideways and Link blinked.

“Really?” they both asked.

“Yes, really,” Ike affirmed. He had a deep, strong-sounding voice. “That’s why Marth said it in the first place.” Pit stuck out his tongue.

“Anyways,” Marth began again, “Ike and I would like to spar with you two. Pit with Ike, and Link with me.” He then shot Link a sideways glance. “Unless you’re scared or something,” he said slyly.

Link huffed. “Of course not! Let’s go, right now!” He then grabbed Pit’s wrist and pulled him off the counter. They both made their way outside with both of the older swordsmen following. When they got out of the building, Pit stopped and looked at Link.

“…Wanna race?” the angel asked sweetly. Link grinned.

“You’re on.”
